Blue zircon is the only colored gem stone that is more brilliant then diamond, due to the double refractive nature of the stone. It has a great blue color. Zircon is a natural gem stone and comes in a verity of different colors. It has the hardness of 7.5.

This was a very rememberable mother’s ring that we were commissioned to make a few years back. The ring was hinged at the shank to be opened up to expose the names and the birth dates of the children. The children had May and April birthdays. We used a princess cut lab created emerald and genuine princess cut diamond. Little round emeralds and diamonds were flush set on the inside of the ring as date separators.
