Atlas Jewelers Bench Talk

I was commissioned to make a “Super Bowl” style ring. For this ring I designed the top of the ring on the computer and had it CAD CAM for precision. There was too much lettering to carve by hand.
Here is a computer rendering of the top plate.

The file was sent to the milling machine to cut the wax.

I hand carved the huge shank around the top plate.

I cast the top in 14k yellow gold and the base ring in sterling silver.

Soldered the two pieces together.

I bezel set a marquise diamond to represent a football and black enameled the top for a strong contrast.
