Atlas Jewelers Bench Talk

A client brought in her original engagement ring and her husband’s original band from 35 years ago. She wanted something special made with them to retain the sentimental spirit of the pieces. What I came up with was to use his existing ring, as is, as a frame and adding spider web of her diamonds. I fabricated a bail using the metal from her ring. (Not shown in picture.)
We could have gone the wax and casting route using their rings to keep the sentimental value, but I think we scored much higher in bonus points for keeping his ring intact.
