A young couple wanting to get engaged had a very sentimental antique diamond band that was pasted down through the family. I carved a wax matching the band to use as the engagement ring. I soldered in a pear shaped basket head and set the diamond.

What we then had was a new ring that blended right in with a wonderful heirloom. I think, a perfect blend of past, present and future wrapped together in a wedding set.
